Whimsical mixed media artwork using traditional hand-woven textiles from the Philippines. In an effort to support these regional craft traditions and minimize waste, I partnered with Vinta Gallery, a luxury Philippine clothing company, to purchase their fabric remnants and repurpose them in my artwork.
 
IYKYK 1 uses repurposed Filipino woven textile, rice bag, metallic embroidery floss, moire fabric, and metal beads over canvas. 8"h x 8"w x 3/4"d. This piece comes ready to hang with two D-rings and picture wire on the back.
