Absolute Beginner Watercolor Techniques
Saturday, January 21, 2023, 9:30am-1:30pm
Norfolk Botanical Gardens, Norfolk, VA
Cost TBA
Have you been looking for a watercolor class that explains the absolute basics? This workshop is just what you've been looking for! You'll learn how to make sense of all the different watercolor supplies out there. You will practice the most used watercolor techniques and learn to judge how much water you need to use with every brushstroke. We'll even spend some time troubleshooting common watercolor problems. Student grade supplies will be provided, but in order to get the most out of this class, it is highly recommended that students purchase professional grade paints and paper. More than the choice of oil or acrylic paints, the quality of watercolor paints and paper materials you use has a much greater effect on your success, so it's always better to invest in the best materials you can. Upon registration, students will be emailed a list of recommended supplies.
Check back to register or contact Norfolk Botanical Gardens.
