An intimate look into my sketchbook, as well as some of my favorite drawings in charcoal and graphite. Drawing isn't just about being able to render a decent picture; it's about the ability to see accurately. Drawing is the foundation upon which all other art is built, regardless of what medium you use. Call me old-fashioned, but I'm a huge proponent of learning everything you possibly can on a regular basis, improving your understanding of line, form, value, and color. I'm not even a regular sketcher, but I treasure whatever time I have available to practice drawing.
